I'm an investigative journalist reporting through a feminist lens. Whether I'm exposing how big tech profits from extremism or uncovering misogynist networks hiding in plain sight, I try to elevate voices that don't often get heard.
I have 10+ years of experience as a journalist, and three as an investigative reporter. Recently, my reporting made an extremist group stop selling merchandise; sparked an international discussion about abuse via digital ID; and helped Human Rights Watch in its sex worker advocacy work, among other impacts.
I've received multiple grants from Journalismfund Europe and IJ4EU. I'm also a European Collaborative Journalism Programme fellow and have been invited to share my work at multiple conferences, from OCCRP's network conference to Dataharvest to CIJ's summer school.
In terms of skills: I'm good at following the money across tricky jurisdictions, finding people who don't want to be found using OSINT and nurturing vulnerable sources. And I'm happiest when I work cross-border and collaboratively.
Last but not least: before turning to journalism full-time, I spent years as a sex workers' rights activist at an award-winning harm reduction NGO. I've left the activism behind, but not the moral compass it gave me.
